ARC

HOW TO BEGIN: To start a landscaping, fencing, or exterior construction project, or any other similar modification to your property or home, please begin by doing the following:
  • Read the Architectural Review Committee Guidelines (Article IV of the CCRs). Please click here
  • Read the CRV Rules & Policies guidelines here, which includes links to fencing requirements and the approved plant list
  • Print, complete, and mail/email this form
  • Complete the fill-in form below. A link follows the form that allows you to upload photos and/or documents, or you may email photos and/or documents as attachments.
THE PROCESS: The committee meets once a month to review requests that have been properly submitted and documented. Next, the committee makes a recommendation to the HOA Board of Directors, who then vote at their next meeting (usually one week after the committee meets) to approve or disapprove your requests according to the committee's recommendation. At the time of approval, you will receive a copy of your plans in the mail with an approval signature or stamp. After you receive the approval, then you may proceed with your project. If your plans are not approved, the committee will make recommendations to you to help you get your plans approved.

flowerIn the case of unapproved projects/improvements to the exterior of your property, you may be subject to fines and asked to remove (undo) the unapproved work.

All landscaping and building projects are subject to the Cedar Rock Village Architectural Restrictions and approval by the Architectural Review Committee and the HOA Board of Directors.

Approval is NOT required if you wish to add flowers or mulch to existing gardens. Mowing, weed-n-feed of your lawn, and weeding gardens or trimming bushes or trees do not need approval either.

Thank you, and we look forward to working with you to make your dream project a reality!

Please use this form to upload photos (if needed) after you have submitted the above form.
